Challenge 2: Wireframing
The second challenge of the pre-work is to wireframe the screens of an app of your choice. Following this medium post you’ll see the steps I took and the final result. I hope you enjoy it, and I’d love to hear your constructive criticism.
Instagram is a social media app owned by Facebook and used by near 1000 million people making it the 6th most used social media app in the world. It’s principal use is to share videos and pictures, but you can also use it to chat with people.
As a regular user of this app, I’ve decided to do the second pre-work challenge for the UX/UI boot camp.
Task analysis
- The home page where you can see the pictures and videos the people you follow post.
- Explore, where you can see pictures of people you don’t follow, but you might be interested on.
- Reels, you can see videos people post that you might enjoy.
- Shop, you can buy items of different accounts.
- Your page, where you and different accounts can see the pictures and videos you posted and know more about you.

This challenge has helped me to understand and use better Figma, as well as how to sketch and divide the screens I followed. It was very interesting to see how all looks.
